W.I.D.E.R & F.A.T (Part 1)
'dELphine. BLESSED! Wanna get W.I.D.E.R & F.A.T!'
Above is my msn nick after last week Thanksgiving cg.. and many ..i mean .. MANY, have asked me why i wanna get 'wider and fat' .. well .. i bet ALL of u will know what these 2 SPECIAL WORDS mean. WIDER is really a word for our cg for this year and i believe all of us can achieve this as a cg and as an individual!! So let's recap!!
W=Worship God
This means many things!!!
- developing deeper relationship with God this year
- spend time with God (Quality QT) –Prayer life
- Bible Reading/Bible Study
- Ministry
- Rise up (CGCs, CGLs)
Im really believing that this year we gonna build a strong relationship with God and we will experience many breakthoughs in our spiritual lives!!
I=Intertwine our Lives Together
- Increase in Fellowship (spend more time with each other)
- Care, love and support each other more (eg. Move house, water baptism, prayer conf, prayer for each other needs)
- Appreciate each other (Honoring)
- Greater Unity
- NOT just on Fri and Sun
YEA! We're not just 'cg members' towards each other.. but we are a family!! And family spend time together!! Believing that we gonna have greater and stronger relationships with each other!
D=Discipleship (Growing Process)
- Be teachable
- Be open
- Willing to change and be mould
- Move on from mistakes
- Don’t backslide!
- Care and love u. Want u to change!
Many dont like this word but this is an important aspect in our lives!!! Personal growth and character development comes from DISCIPLESHIP. People disciple YOU becos they simply LOVE you and want to see a CHANGE in you! (no one wants to age prematurely right?!). So u, as the recipient, be open and have a soft, mouldable heart and attitude towards discipleship. Because ... out of love.. comes discipleship.
E=Evangelism
- passion and active in reaching out
- Even thou we are at EXPO, friends will be willing to travel (eg.Benja)
- Unity and love draws people
- Be supportive when there is outreach
- Evangelism as a lifestyle
Evangelism has a multiplying effect!! When one is saved, many will be saved too! Remember who brought u to church? Somebody brought he/she to church too!! So i'm believing that this year we gonna have many people added into W433! :)
ALRIGHT! WHY W.I.D.E? Because WIDE = W433 in yr hp when u uses predictive text(when it 'remembered' the word).
And to show that we are moving from point A to point B, we want to be W.I.D.E.R! And
R=Retention
- Friends will stay and be integrated.
- More lives will be touch and transform by Jesus
- More people will spread the good news of the gospel!
Let's work together in this area and i can see many of our loves one(families and friends) getting to know God and be planted firmly in the House of God. And as we go WIDER, we will become "W433S" which also = MULTIPLICATION. We'll see many "W433' birthing forth, many leaders rising up too.
I believe 2009 gonna be the GREATEST year yet for ALL OF US!!
W433, we can do it!

Stepping out
Really do not have any idea of what to blog but i have decided NOT to procrastinate! Cos blog is meant to be updated! Anyway ... Was thinking … Surely there will be things to blog if i take my first step out by clicking the "new post".
And tata! This reminded me that many a time in life we do not know what to do or we hesitate in making the first move due to fear of the unknown, commitments, procrastination and many other reasons. And one example will be prophesying in Cgm. (hmm, sound familiar?) We'll always encourage your to take a step of FAITH to speak up, be it in songs or words. And God is just amazing! Even though at times He may just give you A WORD, (not phrases or FULL sentence), a vision or just a tune, but as long as u take a STEP of FAITH to open your mouth and speak/sing out, man! Tell you, as u do it, more words will just come out from yr mouth and without u knowing, hearts are opened, lives are touched and people are ministered, encouraged and lifted up! Holy Spirit is speaking THROUGH you! He is using you to edify the CG! Do not fear speaking in a quiet setting, because God speak in a still small voice!
And see... Unknowingly, I’ve blogged up this entry too! The power of STEPPING OUT from yr comfort zone to the unknown! God leads and directs! PLT! (:

Holy Laughter @ W433
Hi Guys! Hope you all had a Great week!
here's to fill you in on what had happened in cg, for those who were not here...
[we really miss you! its like a part of our cg was not there!]
cg this week was cool! everyone was just so full of Faith!
[so next time when we said you are F.O.F. you know whats that! haha...]
We really hit it during Praise!
even though i was only playing the guitar 2nd time for cg
[playing the guit for cg its like a dream come true for me]
and we were clapping faster and faster...
though its not the perfect praise,
we kept praising God the best we can!
and then, some of us started laughing
by the time we ended praise...
all of us were deep in laughter
Oh Joys!
it went on and on and on! and we were all laughing in sync!
and i thought... hey! that's not normal giggling...
its Holy Laughter!
how cool can that be?!?
haha!
it really leave a deep impression on me
as it was the first time i experienced Holy Laughter in a cg meeting
and its not all the time we got to be weeping under God's presence
its not all the time we experience the goosebumps, to know God is there
its more than all these!
this week's cg meeting really show us that our God is so cool!
touching us in a different way!
so W433, lets really be excited and come with a heart of expectancy!
[let's NOT have worry warts, sorrow spells nor tired toes...
leave those things at home before coming yea?]
knowing God would touch us in a different way every week!
[as our God is Creative, Cool, and Awesome! Amen? (replies: AMEN!!!)]
Next week, when we enter Normanton Park, let's be ready for a another great move of God!
